Privacy and cookies
Short version: we use your details only to answer your enquiry and arrange your stay. We do not sell them and we do not build profiles. The site can collect anonymous visit statistics in Google Analytics, but only if you agree in the banner — until then nothing of Google’s loads at all. There are no advertising trackers.

1. Who processes your data
The controller of your personal data is Rafał Stachurski, NIP 7740013405, running Argentum Resort at Wakacyjna 2, 09-520 Koszelówka. In every matter concerning your data you can write to rafal.stachurski@argentum.pl or call +48 606 396 778.
2. What we collect and why

Giving us your details is voluntary — but without a way to reach you we cannot answer an enquiry or agree a stay.
3. Who else sees the data
Only those who help us run the place, and only as far as they need to:
- Netlify — hosting of this site and storage of form submissions. A company based in the United States; the transfer relies on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
- Smoobu — the booking system in which we keep the calendar and reservations. A company based in Germany.
- Booking.com — only for stays booked through that portal.
- Google Ireland Limited — only if you consent to analytics cookies. Google then receives your IP address, the pages you opened and basic device information, and processes them as our processor for visit statistics. Google may transfer this data to servers outside the European Economic Area, including the United States, on the basis of the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses. Refusing consent, or withdrawing it later, means nothing is sent.
- Our accountant and, when the law requires it, public authorities.
We do not sell your data, we do not pass it to advertisers and we do not use it to build profiles or make automated decisions about you.
4. Your rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- show you what data we hold about you, and give you a copy
- correct anything that is wrong or out of date
- delete your data, where we are not required to keep it
- limit how we use it, or object to us using it under our legitimate interest
- receive your data in a portable format
One e-mail to rafal.stachurski@argentum.pl is enough — we answer within 30 days. If you think we are handling your data badly, you can complain to the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw.
5. Cookies and browser storage
This site sets no advertising cookies at all. Before you decide anything in the banner it stores one small value in your browser’s local storage — it never leaves your device and never reaches our server:

It is essential — without it the site asks about cookies over and over. The banner also has switches for analytics and marketing. Marketing is empty: we use nothing of the kind. Analytics turns on Google Analytics, described below. You can reopen the banner at any time from ‘Cookie settings’ at the bottom of every page, and switching analytics back off deletes the cookies Google had set.
Google Analytics — only with your consent
If you switch analytics on in the banner, the site loads Google Analytics 4 (property G-N3PSLTBCD4) and sets the cookies below. Until you do, the Google script is not fetched at all — no request leaves for Google’s servers. We use the statistics only to see which pages get read and which enquiries come from where. We do not link them to your name, e-mail or booking.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR — your consent, given in the banner. You can withdraw it at any moment through ‘Cookie settings’ at the bottom of the page; withdrawal does not affect what was collected earlier. We have set Google’s consent mode so that until you agree, no advertising or analytics identifier is stored. Google Analytics 4 does not keep full IP addresses — they are used to work out an approximate location and are then discarded.
Fonts and images
Both typefaces are served from our own server, not from Google Fonts. Photographs, the availability calendar and every other element of the page come from our own domain as well. Apart from Google Analytics — and only after you consent — this site contacts no third-party server.
Turning storage off entirely
Every browser lets you block or clear local storage and cookies in its privacy settings. The site will still work — it will simply forget your language each time.
6. Changes to this page
If we add another tool that changes any of this — a booking engine, an advertising pixel — we will update this page and, where consent is needed, ask for it in the banner before anything loads. That is exactly how Google Analytics was added on 31 August 2026.
